Product Introduction

It is also called vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for the production of collagen, the connective tissue that supports our organs, bones, ligaments, and skin. It appears as a white, slightly yellow, or powdered substance. It progressively becomes darker when exposed to air and light. It is moderately stable in air when dry, but it quickly oxidizes in solution. It is readily soluble in water.

For the following illnesses, this medication may be used:
The development of bone matrix in fractures, light hypersensitive dermatitis, internal hemorrhage caused by the capillary explosion, Vitamin X deficiency brought on by administration, facial discoloration, freckles, and the stabilization of pigment after inflammation.

Administration and dosage:

Typically It is taken orally. It is possible to deliver the medication, when oral administration is not practical or malabsorption is suspected. The vitamin is most effectively utilized when administered parenterally via IM, which is the preferred parenteral route. To reduce the risks of adverse effects from intravenous administration, dilution into a high-volume parenteral such as normal saline or glucose is advised.
For adults, 70 to 150 mg of vitamin C daily is the average protective dose. Doses between 300 mg and 1 gram per day are suggested when scurvy is present. However, normal persons have received up to 6 grams parenterally without showing any signs.

Preoperatively and postoperatively, dosages of 300 to 500 mg daily for seven to ten days are often thought to be sufficient to improve wound healing, while much higher doses have been suggested. The degree of tissue damage determines the dosages used to treat burns. Daily dosages of 1 to 2 grams are suggested for burns. Three to five times the daily recommended intakes seem sufficient in other situations where the demand it's high.

This product should be stored in a light-resistant and hermetic container at 2C - 8C.
