Collagen is a fibrous extracellular protein forming connective tissue of dermis.Collagen is inherently low in antigenicity and the most of its antigenicity are assumed to result from the telopeptide regions.
Thera Fill Atelocollagen Filler shows minimal antigen reaction because of the lack of telopeptides by treatment with pepsin. It is made of porcine collagen (from piglets),not bovine collagen.
